Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Housewarm is made by Michael Mehlum Wilhelmsen. This policy covers the Housewarm app on iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac.
Housewarm has no accounts and shows no ads in the app. Your houses, visitors, settings and seen tips are saved on your device. Housewarm does not send them to us or to Meta. If your device backs up apps, these saves may be included in an iCloud or Google backup, which Apple or Google handles under its own privacy policy.
iPhone and iPad, from version 1.1.1: If you allow tracking in Apple's permission prompt, Housewarm starts the Meta SDK and shares app installation, activation and session activity with Meta. This helps attribute installs to Instagram ads and measure how effective those ads are. The SDK can send a persistent identifier it generates, install and app-opening times, a session ID, launch source, previous-session duration and interruptions, time between sessions, app ID and version, device model, operating system, locale and time zone, carrier, screen details, CPU count, consent settings and any available campaign IDs. Meta also receives your IP address with the network requests and may link this information to its advertising data. Housewarm does not send your houses, gameplay, purchases, payment details or an Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) to Meta. If you do not allow tracking, the SDK does not start. Your choice does not affect the game. Android, Mac and earlier iOS versions do not include the Meta SDK.
You can change your choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Changing it later cannot undo information already sent. See Meta's privacy policy for how Meta handles information it receives.
Full House, the in-game purchase, is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles the payment and tells the app whether Full House is owned. Housewarm does not receive your payment details. See Apple's or Google's privacy policy for their handling of purchases.
